Start a conversation The Tropos platform
A governed route from landscape evidence to human decision.
Independent products share context, identity, audit and evidence without collapsing into one monolithic system or blurring responsibility.
Governed analysis foundation01
A connected product family
Tropos is designed as a family of distinct products connected by shared foundations. Operations™ governs the work. Field™ captures what happens on site. SilvaSense™ and AgriSense™ apply domain intelligence. Intelligence™ governs datasets and models. Assistant™ helps authorised people find, understand and communicate the result.
Each product retains a clear system of record. Other products receive references or governed projections rather than creating competing copies of the same truth.
- Operations™: work and authority
- Field™: execution and capture
- Domain products: interpretation
- Shared context and audit
02
Operations™ turns requirements into governed work
Operations™ connects clients, sites, orders, personnel, aircraft, competence, maintenance, operational documents and readiness. Its direction is an accountable journey from client requirement through risk controls and mission release to acceptance.
It supports the management and demonstration of operational compliance; it does not confer CAA approval or replace the responsibilities of the UAS operator and Remote Pilot.
03
Field™ establishes provenance at source
Field™ is the operational edge for crews working away from the office. It is designed to carry a versioned MissionPack, present the current site and controls, support on-site checks and preserve observations, photographs, tracks, samples and attestations.
The evidence created in Field™ should remain linked to the exact mission and authorised context that produced it.
- Mission context
- Offline-aware execution
- Structured evidence capture
- Attested completion
04
SilvaSense™ and AgriSense™ provide domain intelligence
SilvaSense™ is the working forestry application, currently in commercial validation. It turns survey and field evidence into map-centred establishment, stocking, validation and reporting workflows.
AgriSense™ is the agricultural intelligence programme in controlled trials, covering crop and weed evidence, human-reviewed prescription support, treatment assurance and learning across seasons.
05
Intelligence™ governs scientific claims
Tropos Intelligence™ owns dataset and model governance: study design, lineage, annotation truth, experiments, evaluation, benchmarks, approval and publication. Its role is to ensure a model used in a client-facing workflow is a known, tested and versioned quantity.
A model opportunity, interface or registry entry is not evidence of training, inference or accuracy. Publication remains closed until defined evidence and human approval support it.
- Datasets and lineage
- Ground truth and review
- Evaluation and benchmarks
- Model approval and registry
06
Assistant™ makes governed information usable
Tropos Assistant™ helps authorised users work across the product family without absorbing the products that own the records. It can surface source-linked context, approved documents, work status and communication support.
Assistant™ may coordinate and explain; it must not approve legal, safety, scientific, agronomic or client decisions.
- Source-linked answers
- Cross-product awareness
- Knowledge and document access
- Human-controlled workflow support
07
Governance is part of the product
Shared Platform services preserve identity, roles, audit, links and integration across the family. Context should travel with evidence, and evidence should travel with every significant conclusion.
Tropos is designed to expose provenance, confidence, coverage, age and gaps—not hide them behind a polished output. Accountable people retain authority throughout.
08
Built from the work—not around a portfolio diagram
Tropos did not begin by inventing a suite of disconnected software ideas. Operations™, Field™, Intelligence™ and Assistant™ grew from what was needed to deliver SilvaSense™ responsibly: understand a client requirement, organise accountable work, preserve field provenance, govern analysis and communicate a result that can be inspected.
That inside-out development path matters. Tropos is its own first demanding user, so product ideas are exercised against real operational and forestry workflows before they are presented as repeatable commercial services. The wider opportunity follows from practical use, not feature ambition.
- Real delivery need
- Operational feedback
- Forestry as the proving ground
- Evidence before scale
09
One governed journey from question to closure
The connected platform direction begins with a customer or operational question and keeps its meaning intact as work progresses: intake and scope, operational review, authorised mission context, field execution, analysis, validation, report delivery and closure.
Each product owns the record it is qualified to own. Connections carry references, status and provenance rather than creating competing copies. A future Mission Control surface can show progress, blocks and decisions across that journey while remaining a read-only view—not another hidden system of record.
- Intake and scope
- Operational authority
- Field™ evidence and analysis
- Delivery and closure
10
Standalone products. Greater value together.
Each Tropos product is designed to solve a clear problem and can be adopted on its own. An organisation might begin with Operations™ for accountable drone-work management, Field™ for structured evidence capture, SilvaSense™ for forestry intelligence, AgriSense™ for agricultural trials, Intelligence™ for governed analysis, or Assistant™ for access to trusted business information.
The wider platform creates additional value by connecting those products through shared identity, spatial and operational context, provenance, audit history and human authority. Evidence captured once can support the next authorised stage without uncontrolled copying or loss of meaning. This is the Tropos platform advantage: independent products where that is appropriate, and a stronger governed evidence chain when they work together.
- Useful independently
- Shared foundations
- Evidence moves with provenance
- Combined without forced adoption
11
Open integration without surrendering ownership
Tropos is designed around documented APIs, events and adapters rather than shared databases or locked-in equipment. That allows a product to exchange approved context with other Tropos products or, progressively, with external ERP, GIS, field, document and accounting systems while each system retains clear ownership of its records.
This is an architectural and delivery direction, not a claim that every connector is live. Integrations will be identified individually as they are implemented and verified, with scoped access, retry-safe exchange and an auditable record of what moved between systems.
- API and event direction
- Vendor-neutral adapters
- Clear system ownership
- Verified connectors only
12
A flexible SaaS delivery model
The product family is intended to support flexible software-as-a-service delivery. A customer could subscribe to a specific product for a defined need, combine selected products as its requirements grow, or use the connected Tropos platform as a broader governed operating environment.
A platform service could support contractors, land managers, infrastructure organisations and delivery partners through organisation-specific access, roles, controlled collaboration and shared evidence flows. The commercial packaging, service levels, tenant controls and product-by-product availability are still being developed; Tropos is not presenting the complete platform as generally available SaaS today.
- Individual product subscription
- Selected connected products
- Wider platform service
- Governed organisational access
