SilvaSense™ turns forest evidence into defensible insight.
A working, map-centred forestry analytics product for establishment, stocking, detection, validation and client reporting—currently in commercial validation.

01
What SilvaSense™ does
SilvaSense™ brings drone survey data, site boundaries, orthomosaics, plot evidence and forestry context into one reviewable workflow. It is designed for people who need to understand what was observed, how an analysis was produced and where its limitations remain.
The strongest current use case is establishment and stocking assessment on prepared sites: turning captured imagery into mapped detections, practical indicators, validation evidence and a client-facing report.
- Survey and dataset ingest
- Site and compartment geometry
- Orthomosaic and plot layers
- Map-centred review
02
Detection, stocking and establishment
SilvaSense™ can organise tree or plant detection runs, present detection indicators and display stocking information spatially. Plot sampling and patch analysis help reviewers examine local variation rather than relying only on a site-wide number.
Nursery and establishment workflows support questions around plant presence, stocking patterns and areas that may need closer field inspection. Restock verification, regeneration monitoring and height analysis remain partial or exploratory capabilities and are not presented as complete products.
- Tree and plant detections
- Detection KPIs
- Stocking maps
- Plot and patch analysis
03
Validation connects models with field truth
A detection is not treated as evidence simply because a model produced it. SilvaSense™ supports validation workspaces that compare analytical outputs with manual or field reference evidence, record the basis of the comparison and preserve limitations.
This creates a traceable route from source imagery through analysis and review to an interpretation made by a forestry professional.
- Ground-reference comparison
- Patch-level review
- Repeatable validation records
- Visible limitations
04
Reports that retain the evidence chain
Reporting workflows can assemble maps, analytical indicators, validation material and explanatory context into client-facing outputs. The aim is not only to present a result, but to make the evidence behind it reviewable.
Prepared demonstrations currently support authentication, site context, GIS layers, detections, stocking, validation and generated reports. Pilot delivery remains conditional on governed onboarding, environment assurance and an agreed support model.
- Map and analytical outputs
- HTML and PDF reporting
- Prepared-site demonstrations
- Governed pilot context
05
Fits the GIS tools foresters already use
SilvaSense™ outputs are designed to leave the platform as well as remain reviewable inside it. Forestry maps and spatial results can be exported for use in established GIS workflows, including KML for compatible mapping tools.
That means a forester can review the evidence in SilvaSense™, then carry the approved spatial output into the tools, project files and conversations already used by their organisation. Export supports the workflow; it does not remove the need to check coordinate reference, version, coverage and limitations before use.
- GIS-ready spatial outputs
- KML export
- Use in existing mapping workflows
- Version and context retained
06
What SilvaSense™ does not currently claim
SilvaSense™ is not presented as a complete enterprise forestry suite or as generally available software. Mature-stand inventory valuation, timber volume, production carbon monitoring, disease detection and storm-damage assessment are not current product capabilities.
It also does not replace professional forestry interpretation. SilvaSense™ organises and analyses evidence; accountable people decide what that evidence means and what action is justified.

A working forestry product, introduced through governed pilots
SilvaSense™'s strongest demonstrable journey is already concrete: authenticated site context, survey and dataset ingest, boundaries and orthomosaics, mapped detections and stocking indicators, plot-level review, validation and client-facing reporting on prepared sites.
That supports guided demonstrations and controlled pilot delivery today. Wider self-service SaaS onboarding, general multi-tenant operation and unrestricted commercial launch require further assurance, support and validation; the website will continue to distinguish a demonstrable workflow from general availability.
- Prepared-site demonstrations
- Map-centred evidence review
- Validation and reporting
- Governed pilot onboarding
